ABOUT BLOOM+HONEY
Our Origins
I founded bloom + honey after accepting that a childhood calling to support maternal and reproductive health still lived on in my heart decades later. I combined this with my personal belief in self-care and love for the company of a warm cup of tea to rise and set with each day.
but my love and joy for this work is grounded in the wisdom and work of my ancestors,
my maternal grandmother who bore 12 children and
my maternal grandfather who raised & provided for the family as a farmer in guyana,
my paternal grandmother who transitioned during child-birth and
my paternal great-grandfather who was an engineer in the sugarcane factory in barbados and
the indigenous knowledge of my african ancestry
who bless my work daily.
